Nineteen of Medvedev's 21 victories have been achieved on hard surfaces
A revitalized Medvedev secured his first trophy for over two years with a win over Corentin Moutet in the tournament final.
The Russian, a ex- number one, has endured a torrid year, managing just one match at the big events and suffering a difficult moment at the American major.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and issues with his serving in especial - resulted in him falling of the elite rankings and ultimately splitting with long-term mentor Gilles Cervara.
Now collaborating with Thomas Johansson and Rohan Goetzke, he has gradually advanced in the recent weeks - peaking in a hard-fought three-set win over challenger Corentin Moutet.
It is the player's first title following the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard court since spring of that year.
Victory also signifies he has secured 21 titles at 21 various events.
"For the first time I have attended a event with my both daughters simultaneously, so to get a championship is particularly special," said world number 14 the champion.
"This victory is in tribute of my child her name, because the maiden victory I won when my older daughter Alisa was born was for her."
Medvedev, the 2021 US Open champion, had lost his previous six championship matches, comprising in that event previously this season.
Medvedev's retrieving play style and frequent outbursts on the playing surface had prompted observers to question if his ability to perform at the elite level was finished.
However the 29-year-old has made changes in the last few weeks, attempting to approach the net and compete assertively, reinforced by an enhanced serving game.
He fought back from a disadvantage in the first set against the challenging opponent, winning four of the concluding five exchanges to take the lead.
Both players traded service breaks in the middle set before Moutet, striving for his first professional championship, seized the initiative to force a decider.
The opponent saved four early-game chances in a competitive final set before the champion secured a break to that score to secure the win.
Fittingly, the winner secured the win with a point at the net, with his opponent incapable to control a return after two hours and 38 minutes.
